So I'm only left with Physics on Friday!

Today I had Calculus. For the 1st time since the exams started, I felt relief & peace after the Calculus paper. How ironic - I mean, it's Calculus! I wouldn't say the paper was easy, but I think it wasn't as difficult as I anticipated it to be.

2 Interesting things happened DURING my Calculus paper

1) Someone's whose radio was playing louding, walked past my classroom during the exam. Guess what song was blasting? John Mayer's "Waiting on the World to Change"!!! Normally, I would be very very annoyed, coz I mean, hello? I was in the middle of my exam - Calculus, no less! But since it was a JM song, I was quite pleasantly surprised! LOLX. It was just the POWER song I needed to spur me on for my exam! I was smiling to myself after the guy with the radio walked past. Hopefully the invigilator didn't see me similing to myself! She'd have thought, "What a weird gal!"

2) In one of the parts of the 2nd last question, I was supposed to be come up with an equation for the rate of change of an area of a sector, in terms of the rates of changes of the angle (in radians) & the radius. At first, I tried to get the answer using the Chain Rule. But I couldn't get my answer in terms of the rates of changes of angle & radius. I needed the answer to this part of the question to answer the next part. So I really needed to get this right. So I thought... and I thought.... and I thought... but I still couldn't find out why I couldn't get the right answer, though it was only a 2 or 3 mark question.

So I prayed (in my heart of course!), "God, please please help me to get this right. Please show me how to do this question. Please, quick!"

Then I suddenly remembered that I could differentiate A = 1/2 x r^2 x θ, with respect to t! TADA! I got it!

Then I said, "WOW! GOD YOU RAWK!!!"

Something similar happened in the last part of the last question. For some strange reason, I made a silly mistake that I normally would not make. So I got stuck... Then I whispered a prayer again and I "saw the light"! WHOOHOOO!

You might say, "Eh! You got supernatural help! NOT FAIR!"

Well... to quote Relient K's "Be My Escape":

"But the beauty of [God's] grace is that it makes life not fair"
